Area Director Restaurants, Bars & Events

Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel

Responsibility

  • Oversee and direct all aspects of Restaurants, Bars & Events operations for 3 Marco Polo Hotels in Hong Kong.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality standards of product and service, guest satisfaction, merchandising and marketing, operation costs and hygiene standard.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of the Hotel’s strategic plan, marketing plan, goals programme.
  • Manage departmental budgets and forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Lead all Restaurants, Bars & Events colleagues, facilities, sales and costs to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved.
  • Lead and guide outlet managers and ensure daily operational efficiency in the provision of service at Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Keep abreast of local requirements, market needs, trends, practices and equipment in Food & Beverage preparation and service in the Hotel and restaurant field. 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as the Hotel’s standard.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in managing multi-properties in hospitality industry is a definite advantage.
  • Strong business senses and proven management abilities in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communications skills and leadership skills.
  • Mature, service-orientated and well-organized.
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese.
