Assistant Income Audit Manager

Responsibility
- Audits daily revenue summaries for Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other operating departments, generated from the PMS and POS systems, in accordance with the Hotel’s policies and procedures.
- Ensures all revenue-generating transactions are accurately recorded and supported by effective internal controls.
- Audits the daily General Cashier’s report, focusing on FO and F&B cashier accountabilities, bank deposit slips, and analyzing cash overages/shortages. Ensures all cash-related transactions comply with the Hotel’s cash handling procedures, monitors cashier discrepancies, investigates substantial variances, and reports them to the Director of Finance.
- Audits and validates corroborating documents, ensuring proper authorization by respective managers or designated personnel.
- Assists, supervises, and reviews the audit of Banquet Revenues conducted by the Income Audit Assistant/Supervisor.
- Maintains the inventory of all accountable hotel forms, ensuring proper schedules and monitoring to maintain accountability.
- Prepares and ensures completeness, approval, and recording of journal entries related to revenue and package allocations during the month-end closing process in the Hotel’s accounting system.
- Assists the Assistant Director of Finance and the Director of Finance in preparing the annual hotel budget, with a focus on revenue and income-related aspects.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, based on the operational requirements of the department or division.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of working experience as an Assistant Income Audit Manager.
- Knowledge of F&B cashiering, front desk cashiering, and night audit procedures.
