Floor Supervisor

Responsibility
- Maintain the services extend to guests on the assigned guest floors are up to standard; ensure safety, security and comfort of the guest rooms.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the guest rooms and checkout rooms are released back to Front Office on time; supervise and motivate the associates from time to time to get the job done; provide on-the-job training if needed.
- Maintain a good communication and working relationship with associates on the assigned guest floors; pass information they need correctly and accurately ; ensure policy and procedures is follow.
- Monitor the progress of ‘Room Spring Cleaning Program’ and ‘Preventive Maintenance Program’; conduct room inspection on any defects and prepare checklist to Assistant Housekeeper.
- Control all Cleaning Supplies, Guest Supplies, mini bar stock items; monitor a smooth circulation of linen for turnover; ensure all cleaning tools and equipment are in good order.
- Control and supervise the performance of any associates or outside contractor working on the assigned guest floor.
- Report any damage, room defects, accident, sick guest and unusual happenings on the assigned guest floors to the attention of Assistant Housekeeper; give recommendation if any improvement can be made.
Qualifications
- Secondary school graduated.
- Certification of Housekeeping Supervisory Courses or equivalent courses.
- Minimum 1 year working experience as Floor Supervisor or 3 years as Room Attendant.
- Sound technical knowledge on room make up procedures, cleaning chemicals and equipment. Capable to lead people to get job done and good human relationship and communication skill.
