Group Director Global Sales

Responsibility

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and market opportunities.
  • Lead the global sales team, setting targets, and providing mentorship to ensure team members are effectively contributing to the company's goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts, strategic partners, and stakeholders across different regions.
  • Represent the company at international conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the brand and products.
  • Monitor global market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee, develop and activate the use of company-wide programmes and tools related to the sales process.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention.
  • Oversee the management of global sales budgets, forecasts, and resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on global sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, international relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in sales, with a significant portion in a global or international context.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a global market.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to different time zones.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin is preferred
