Restaurant Supervisor
Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel
Responsibility
- Assist the manager in directing and supervising captain, waiter/waitress, bar waiter/waitress and hostess
- Ensure that the restaurant is in proper order before opening the restaurant. While closing the restaurant, all closing procedures must be completed and doublechecked
- Prepare cashier duties such as calculating the tips, credit cards, cash, and all charges throughout the day
- Familiar with restaurant’s promotions, menu and their pricing and activities related to the restaurant and hotel
- Aware and comply with the hotel policies and standards
- Establish customer loyalty by maintaining good customer relations with guest and ensuring that guest satisfaction is met and up to standard
- Able to multitask and work under pressure
Qualifications
- Secondary school certificate
- Catering school certificate is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in hotel / catering establishments
- Good command of speak and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
