Restaurant Supervisor

Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel

Responsibility

  • Assist the manager in directing and supervising captain, waiter/waitress, bar waiter/waitress and hostess
  • Ensure that the restaurant is in proper order before opening the restaurant. While closing the restaurant, all closing procedures must be completed and doublechecked
  • Prepare cashier duties such as calculating the tips, credit cards, cash, and all charges throughout the day
  • Familiar with restaurant’s promotions, menu and their pricing and activities related to the restaurant and hotel
  • Aware and comply with the hotel policies and standards
  • Establish customer loyalty by maintaining good customer relations with guest and ensuring that guest satisfaction is met and up to standard
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure

Qualifications

  • Secondary school certificate
  • Catering school certificate is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in hotel / catering establishments
  • Good command of speak and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
