Responsibility

• Perform the role of business partner on all financial aspects of the hotel working closely with the Area General Manager and Executive Committee members.

• Maintain strong relations with Corporate Office and Wharf Holdings and ensure timely submission of reports and documents.

• Analysis review for business development.

• Review the financial results and provide analysis and forecast for management decision.

• Deal with insurance matters.

• Maintain proper information technology to support hotel operations.

• Maintain proper internal control on the operation of hotel.

• Ensure all necessary accounting books and records are being properly maintained as required by law.

• Co-ordinate for all license application & compliance with statutory requirements and corporate policy.

• Prepare annual budget for approval and maintains proper budgetary control.

• Provide on-the-job training for accounting colleagues and monitors the development of subordinates.

• Handle corporate profits tax and ensures statutory audited accounts are completed.

• Monitor manpower planning within the department.

• Undertake ad hoc projects assigned by the company.

Qualifications

• Education: Tertiary education with proper accounting qualifications and professional certification.

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Management.
