Assistant Chief Steward
Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel
Responsibility
- Ensure the efficient operation including the control of operating and cleaning equipment during the shift.
- Organize the daily activities of the work area to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with hotel policies.
- Ensure the smooth running of shifts by following instructions, conducting routine checks on operational areas, and providing assistance where necessary.
- Assist in implementing and conducting departmental training programs to enhance team performance and skill development.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Chief Steward or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong supervisory, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage equipment, cleaning chemicals, and proper cleaning procedures used in hotel operations.
