Assistant Director of Finance
The Murray Hong Kong
Responsibility
- Report directly to the Director of Finance to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of the entire Finance department, including Credit, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, Cost Control and Payroll Preparation
- Manage licensing for hotel premises, restaurant, food factory, swimming pool, and spa
- Oversee insurance, reporting and budget compilations
- Ensure adherence to all related ordinances as well as corporate policies and procedures, maintaining high integrity
- Act as a business partner to assist in new business initiatives, procurement and information technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the finance field, with at least 5 years in a chief accountant or higher position. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Finance Manager role
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of hotel accounting systems and automation
- Business-minded with strong market acumen and the ability to adapt to new technologies
- Proven experience in financial transformation through automation is an advantage
- Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage
- A certified accountant (CPA or equivalent) is preferable
