Assistant Learning and Growth Manager

Responsibility

  • Manage all Learning budget:
    • Prepares, implements, and monitors the Hotel's learning budget, ensure that the department's operational budget is strictly adhered to, and that all cost is controlled and expenditures are approved.
    • Supports the financial objectives of the hotel through proper and efficient management.
    • Timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
  • Manage, plan, oversee, and executes all HR employee relations program/s and activities (Townhall, Sport activity etc)
    • Act as lead and host for all ER programs
    • Manage and monitors materials needed for the program/activity
  • Manage the MPOM's on-the-job training program:
    • Handles the selection of qualified students for the program
    • Creates and maintains linkages with educational institutions
    • Monitors attendance and rendered hours of all interns
    • Assist AHRM and HRD in handling disputes, complaints and other OJT related concerns
    • Conducts weekly "Kumustahan" with all interns
  • Develop a close working relationship with Managers and Department Heads of MPOM in order to create co-operative and friendly channels of communication and to obtain feedback on training progress
  • Plan, organize, and implement the industrial/Management Trainee Program in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct all training programs in accordance with the annual training plan for all employees of Hotel.
  • Implement and follow up on methods to measure the effectiveness of all training and development programs.
  • Compile and annual training budget (covering both internal and external training courses) and capital expenditure budget, takinf into consideration the need of Hotel.
  • Ensure all training functions are in line with the Corporate Training Guideline.
  • Ensure that all associates are knowledgable about the hotel and its product by conducting refresher course training, and conduct quizzes from time to time.
  • Assist in the compilation and implementation of all associate communications, including associate social media applications, associate notice board.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of current techniques for learning and growth
  • Ability to establish rapport with coworkers and suppliers
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in human resources Management, MBA or comparable field
  • 3 years experience in Learning and Growth
