Assistant Purchasing Manager

Responsibility
- Implement the Director of Finance's directives, report directly to him, and oversee all procurement of hotel supplies and food.
- Stay informed about market trends and logistics, coordinate with suppliers, and consistently compare multiple vendors to minimise procurement costs. Deliver high-quality, reasonably priced supplies and food to hotels.
- Stay informed about market trends and supply channels, consistently compare multiple suppliers, and strive to reduce procurement costs for materials and food supplies. Deliver high-quality products at competitive prices to meet the hotel's needs.
- Understand the usage and inventory of hotel supplies, and collaborate with relevant departments to develop annual, quarterly, and monthly procurement plans based on actual operational needs in a rational and scientific manner.
- According to the hotel demand and market supply, the supplier with a reasonable price, reliable quality, good reputation and excellent after-sales service is selected to establish the supply relationship.
- Formulate the material procurement procedure, establish the material procurement management system, and propose the responsibility system and assessment of material procurement work.
- Actively coordinate with other departments in the hotel, regularly listen to feedback from user departments on material procurement, and promptly improve procurement processes.
- Strengthen the management of purchasing contracts, strictly check the terms of contracts, implement the contract law carefully, and ensure the legal performance of economic contracts.
- All procurement matters shall be conducted in accordance with the hotel's regulations and procedures.
- Keep a complete record of the items purchased and the names of the suppliers for future reference.
- Communicate, coordinate and cooperate closely with other departments.
Qualifications
- Education: College or above
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role; strong communication skills.
- Others: Maintain stable supplier networks and proactively develop partnerships to fulfil subscription demands.
