Chef de Partie - Pastry

Gateway Hotel, Hong Kong

Responsibility

•    Maintain a friendly, neat and pleasant image at all times.
•    Schedule with the Pastry Sous Chef working hours of kitchen colleagues, taking into consideration the volume of expected business but being careful at all times to conserve labour cost.
•    Assign in details specific duties to all colleagues under supervision and instruct them in their work.
•    Responsible for the quality of all food prepared in the kitchen under supervision.  Check constantly for taste, temperature and visual appeal.
•    Make sure that all dishes are uniformed and that the established portion sizes are adhered to.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences in hotels / catering establishments 
• Holder of certificate related to Catering school will be an advantage
