Responsibility
1. Maintain a high level of pastry food preparation in colleague restaurant; Maintain the quality standards of work set by colleague restaurant Chef. Prepares, cooks and bakes food in designated areas of the kitchen as per the standards for the associates by following instructions. Works in a safe, efficient and productive manner at all times. Familiarizes himself with menu and ingredient knowledge2.Cooks, prepares and bakes food for and associates as per the standard recipes
3.Follows the outlined standard and procedures precisely.
4.Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, grooming and presentation.
5.Ensures correct and safe use of all equipment, machinery and tools.
6.Always maintains high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen, storage, fridges and freezers.
7.Makes sure that all food items stored correctly.
8.Ensures that all the kitchen equipment is in good working order and reports any faults or damage to supervisor.
9.Initiates action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervise of potential danger.
10.Works effectively to promote harmony and teamwork.
Qualifications
1.Secondary School2.Chinese cooking certification preferred but not required
3.Minimum 2 years experiences as Chinese cook; Hotel experience is preferred but not required
