Director of Communications

Responsibility
Job Summary:Director of Communications oversees and manage the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila Hotels’ Advertising and PR programs, enhancing brand image and awareness, ensuring standardized promotional materials, maximizing editorial coverage, and coordinating sponsorships for charitable, cultural, and philanthropic events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees and coordinates all advertising, PR, and digital marketing initiatives (local and international) to maximize brand exposure and ensure compliance with Marco Polo standards.
- Develops and maintains relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders, including journalists, strategic alliances, and co-sponsorship opportunities.
- Manages content creation and production, including copywriting, collateral, audio-visual materials, photography, and social media platforms.
- Supervises departmental teams and budgets, including the Art Department, PR & Advertising budget, and marketing support for all revenue streams.
- Handles brand integrity and crisis management, ensuring all communications, websites, OTAs, and campaigns align with brand standards and operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in advertising, PR, or marketing, preferably in the hospitality or luxury sector.
- Strong skills in media relations, digital marketing, and social media management.
- Proven experience in brand management, campaign execution, and event coordination.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Experience in budgeting and multi-project management.
- Knowledge of crisis management and reputation management is a plus.
