Responsibility

• Manages day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the organization's financial stability.
• Ensures quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Manages and ensures compliance with local laws and regulations, including tax and corporate governance.
• Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Provides sound business advice on project evaluation and capital expenditure justification.
• Oversees information technology and purchasing functions.
• Effectively manages business and operational risks, addressing any major concerns to the owners and/or corporate office.
• Engages in various ad hoc functions as assigned by the General Manager or Corporate office.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of work experience as a Director of Finance in the hotel industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required).
• Mature and pleasant personality, persistent and committed, with the ability to strive for excellence.
• Strategic and agile, able to convey key points and recommendations effectively and efficiently.
• Thorough understanding of hotel operations and strong business acumen.
• Knowledge of the Philippines tax system.
• Demonstrated ability to scope a project, develop an action plan, influence others, present convincing arguments, and handle conflicting viewpoints.
• Experience working closely with stakeholders, including the owning company and corporate office.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to address all levels within the organization and gain consensus.
