Director of RB&E

Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing

Responsibility

  • Responsible for the management of the RB&E Department, Develop and implement all business plans.
  • Plan and formulate the annual and monthly operating budget of the department, analyze and report the monthly and annual operating conditions, and achieve the operating revenue and profit targets of the department.
  • Responsible for the operation and management of Café Marco,Lobby Lounge and Banquet , organize team building and training, etc.
  • Develop and optimize catering SOP, VIP catering reception service manual, catering management system and service training plan.
  • Work with the Executive Chef to plan and design menus and develop food and beverage products as needed.
  • Control the standard specifications and requirements of catering food and beverages, accurately grasp the gross profit margin, and do a good job in cost accounting; Strengthen the management of food raw materials and items, reduce costs and increase profits.
  • Maintain food and beverage assets and equipment, strictly control material loss, and continuously maintain a healthy meal loss rate.
  • Monitor the reasonable arrangement of RB&E efficiency and control labor cost.
  • Responsible for the promotion of food and beverage, according to the market situation and the needs of different periods, formulate promotion plans and support relevant departments to do a good job in all promotional activities, so as to maximize the operating revenue.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies, procedures and customer coverage in a timely manner to achieve objectives.
  • Properly coordinate the working relationship with other departments, fully mobilize internal labor resources, and ensure the smooth completion of the catering reception peak.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the General manager.

Qualifications

  • Education:  College or above    
  • Experience: Proficient in the business knowledge of the department, proficient in
  •  Chinese food, Western food skills and management skills,
  • At least 5 years working experience in the same position.
  • Others: Have the ability of social activities, organization and leadership; 
  • Good at mobilizing the enthusiasm of the management colleague at all levels; Good at food products, facilities and scope of marketing activities
  • Good English.
