Responsibility

The Engineering Administrator – Preventive Maintenance is responsible for overseeing preventive maintenance and engineering operations during assigned shifts to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient hotel operations. The role supports sustainability, environmental compliance, and reliability of all mechanical and electrical systems while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees preventive maintenance programs and ensures the reliability and efficient operation of all hotel engineering systems and equipment.
• Leads, develops, and supervises engineering personnel to maintain technical excellence, safety compliance, and service standards.
• Ensures compliance with environmental, safety, fire, and statutory regulations while supporting sustainability initiatives and reporting requirements.
• Monitors utilities and energy consumption, analyzes performance data, and implements cost-saving and energy-efficiency measures.
• Coordinates with departments, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve engineering issues, maintain operational records, and ensure adherence to company policies and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Licensed Engineer preferred
• Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accreditation or willingness to be designated
• Minimum 3–5 years of hotel or facilities engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fire, and life-safety systems
• Working knowledge of sustainability, environmental compliance, and energy management
