Floor Manager

Responsibility

The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, maintaining quality and cleanliness standards, conducting regular inspections, providing guidance and coaching to supervisors and attendants, and ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and guest service expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervises and coordinates daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, service quality, and compliance with hotel standards across all assigned areas.
  • Leads, trains, and develops housekeeping associates, ensuring high performance, professionalism, and adherence to grooming, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Conducts regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and housekeeping facilities to maintain quality, safety, and maintenance standards.
  • Manages inventories, supplies, staffing schedules, and departmental resources to support efficient operations and cost control.
  • Handles guest concerns, coordinate with other departments, and ensure prompt resolution of operational issues to enhance guest satisfaction and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in Housekeeping within a 5-star hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, inventory control, and hotel quality assurance procedures.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, motivate, and develop housekeeping teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and hotel property management systems.
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
