Guest Relations Officer

Niccolo Chongqing

Responsibility

  • Offer warm welcome and greetings to all people entering hotel via hotel main entrance area.
  • Offer assistance to all people entering the hotel. Answering questions and directing people to their destinations. Example: escorting people from Lobby to check in area, from lobby to Niccolo Kitchen or Bar62, from Lobby to Fitness center, from Lobby to function rooms.
  • Coordinate with Front Desk to arrange VIP arrivals, rooms and departure.
  • Coordinate with Front Desk to arrange VIP group.
  • Assist front desk, city insider, bell attendant during they are busy.
  • Grooming and appearance, it has to be the best in hotel. Smile and initiative is also compulsory.
  • Open Doors for guest circulating in and out of the hotel. 
  • Assist guests who have difficulty boarding or alighting vehicle. E.g. handicapped guests, Adults with handful of items, Mothers carrying baby, etc.
  • Be alert of the lighting, room temperature, background music, elevators performance and music at the hotel front entrance providing feedback to the supervisors for any necessary follow-up for lighting adjustment for the hotel entrance.
  • Review Daily VIP arrival list, as mentioned above. And Ambassadors are fully responsible for VIP Reception, In Room C/I and farewell.
  • Inspect VIP rooms and ensure that amenities are delivered on time.
  • Focus on Long Stay, Return Guest, Birthday Guest, and Anniversary Guest and create more memorable memories
  • Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Main working area is focus in the lobby. Assistant Guest Relations Manager/Director of Guest Experience to follow up on the cleanliness, fix lights and fixtures in the lobby. Have a proper display of hotel brochures and tariffs and promotional pamphlets.
  • Handle basic guest requests and takes personal responsibility to ensure request is met by following up with relevant departments.
  • Review arrival information on a daily basis: VIP, Discover members, Regular guests, Groups, Special requests etc.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests
  • Maintain effective guest relations, builds rapport and offer personalized service and assistance.
  • During working hours, the Guest Relation Officer must be present in the lobby.
           Morning Shift: 0730-1600 
           Afternoon Shift: 1430-2300

Qualifications

  • High School Junior Colleague Diploma
  • Hospitality related (Preferred but not required)
  • Good oral English. Good guest contact skill and service manner, able to communicate with all levels. Possess good physical fitness and health.
