Income Audit Clerk

Responsibility
1.The basic responsibilities of the Income Audit Clerk is to check that all charges raised by each department have been properly posted to guests accounts or otherwise accounted for and the correct procedures have been followed and that all daily income that should have been received by the hotel was received.2.Audits the daily revenue figures, supporting reports and vouchers.
3.Ensure that Daily and Monthly revenue and settlement reconciliation is prepared on a timely basis.
4.Ensure that all revenue is captured and reported.
5.Audits the telephone interface report to ensure all telephone revenue has been posted.
6.Ensures the relevant Front Office & Outlet reports are printed, audited and filed in date order.
7.Verifies transactions posted in the daily report, including but not limited to credit cards, city ledger, crew allowances, paid outs, allowances & rebates, miscellaneous charges, voiding, car park revenues, and room safe keys.
8.Reconcile credit card charges between electronic credit card machine and Point of Sale system on a daily basis.
9.Record cashier overs/unders in the relevant reports and followed up with the Outlet Managers or Front Office Manager.
10.To perform any additional tasks assigned to ensure that the department functions smoothly.
Qualifications
1.Minimum 3 years’ college education2.Accounting qualification certificate is preferred.
3.Experience in the same position is preferred.
