Junior Sous Chef - Pastry

Gateway Hotel, Hong Kong

Responsibility

  • Under the guidance and supervision of Pastry Chef, and within the limit of established company policies and procedures and Food & Beverage Manual, assist in overseeing and directing all aspects of the pastry kitchen operation.
  • Ensure optimum performance in all of the areas as assigned.
  • Assist Pastry Chef in the production, preparation and presentation of all food items to ensure the highest quality at all times.
  • Assist Pastry Chef in conducting formal and on the job training sessions for kitchen employees.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experiences in hotels / catering establishments
  • Holder of certificate related to food hygiene will be an advantage
  • Good command of Chinese and English
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
