Responsibility

Lifeguard ensures the life, safety & security of hotel guests using the pool facilities. Responsible in providing services and assistance to hotel guests/Fitness Center. Being proactive in exerting ways and means to prevent accidents or any untoward incidents from occurring and reacts appropriately to Emergencies (drowning/slips etc.)
 

• Ensure guest safety by monitoring pool activities, enforcing facility rules, and administering life-saving techniques, first aid, and basic life support when necessary.
• Maintain pool and Jacuzzi operations, including chemical balance, temperature control, daily cleaning, and upkeep of surrounding areas and equipment.
• Provide exceptional guest service by preparing amenities, handling inquiries, conducting facility tours, and promoting fitness center services.
• Guide and assist new staff or trainees, ensuring adherence to hotel policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
• Prepare and submit incident reports promptly, liaise with medical personnel when required, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Lifeguard; experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or similar upscale environment is an advantage.
• Must hold a valid and up-to-date Lifeguard certification.
• Skilled in life-saving techniques, basic life support, and first aid.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
