Reservations Agent

Responsibility
The Reservations Agent processes and manages all reservation requests in accordance with established procedures, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and excellent guest service. The role supports revenue optimization through upselling, maintains guest history records, communicates occupancy trends to management, and complies with all company policies and operational requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Handles and processes all reservation requests accurately in line with established procedures and systems.
- Provides prompt, courteous responses to guest inquiries and reservation correspondence.
- Maximizes room revenue through effective upselling and adherence to rate-selling strategies.
- Maintains accurate reservation records, guest history, and filing of related documentation.
- Coordinates with the Reservations Supervisor and Manager by reporting occupancy trends, critical dates, and operational updates.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Previous experience in hotel reservations or front office operations, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems, hotel rates, packages, and promotions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work rotating shifts.
