Restaurant Supervisor (Lounge)

Responsibility

Restaurant Supervisor leads and supervises the lounge as a high-performing profit center by delivering exceptional guest experiences aligned with Marco Polo Hotel standards. Oversees the planning, organization, direction, and control of daily Food and Beverage operations and administration, ensuring service efficiency, team productivity, and consistent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily lounge operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, adherence to Marco Polo Hotel standards, and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control operational costs, including payroll, inventory, and expenses, while ensuring accurate handling of sales, POS transactions, and financial reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate the team by assigning duties, conducting briefings, managing schedules, and ensuring staff performance and productivity meet operational requirements.
  • Maintain excellent guest relations by handling inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring a warm, professional atmosphere at all times.
  • Oversee administrative and compliance functions, including inventory control, reporting, cleanliness standards, inter-department coordination, and maintenance of outlet facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in luxury hospitality or upscale Food & Beverage environments with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fine dining service standards, premium beverage service, and luxury guest expectations.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
  • Proficient in POS systems, inventory management, cost control, and operational procedures.
