Revenue Manager

Marco Polo Plaza, Cebu

Responsibility

  • Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance through pricing, inventory controls, and mix management.
  • Communicate revenue management strategies to the hotel's leadership team.
  • Implement revenue management operations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Optimize and expand distribution partnerships.
  • Act as a business development consultant for the hotel manager/owner.
  • Challenge and influence the hotel to improve service levels and operational standards.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with third-party partners, system suppliers, and hotel associates.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Reservations Manager to update and review selling strategies on a monthly basis.
  • Review room rate pricing strategy to ensure alignment with market conditions and competition.
  • Set strategies for restrictions during high-demand periods and adjust room rates accordingly.
  • Implement revenue strategies such as Minimum Length of Stay (MLOS), Close to Arrival (CTA), and Minimum Stay Through (MST).
  • Explore revenue opportunities through GDS, third-party internet sites, and branded websites.
  • Ensure rate parity compliance on all publicly available sites.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of previous experience in hotel or airline operations or marketing, with knowledge of Fidelio.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Performance and results-driven mindset.
  • Assertive, personable, and effective communicator.
  • Strong selling attitude and self-motivation.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and maintain organization.
  • Proactive and self-starting approach.
  • Computer literacy, familiarity with hotel PMS systems.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and objections.
  • Ability to embrace challenges as opportunities.
