Sales Manager

Marco Polo Ortigas Manila

Responsibility

  • Identify market needs and trends in the travel industry, define target markets, and analyze competitors’ sales promotions and activities.
  • Supervise sales staff to ensure they effectively sell the hotel’s services and products within their respective territories, and ensure rates are accurate and align with the hotel pricing policy.
  • Maintain an efficient customer filing system and manage sales activities effectively.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring an efficient administrative system within the sales and marketing department to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay updated on client relationships and business goals through close communication with the Events Management Team.
  • Handle all aspects of Familiarization Groups, including inquiries, coordination, and execution.
  • Monitor and report on the market and competitors within the assigned market area.
  • Prepare daily sales call reports and ensure accurate market and customer information for follow-up.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential.
