Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Responsibility


Digital and Performance Marketing Planning & Management:
  • Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aimed at achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives for WHM Group and WHM Hotels.
  • Advertising Management: Lead the development of advertising strategies to enhance the performance of websites (both ROW and MLC), utilizing platforms such as Google, Meta, affiliate marketing, SEO, Baidu, and programmatic display networks.
  • Advertising Expansion: Strategically expand advertising space and execute efficient advertising strategies across hotels to meet commercial goals.
  • Budget Management: Plan and manage media budgets at both the Group and hotel property levels, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Campaign Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing campaigns using key analytics tools to generate actionable insights and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Agency Management: Oversee media agency relationships, developing guidelines and directions for regular business reviews at both WHM and hotel levels to facilitate effective planning and execution.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Conduct productive meetings with agency partners, maintaining structure and discipline to maximize outcomes. Influence agencies to submit proposals and media plans aligned with targets.

Project Management and Business Operations:
  • Website Development Oversight: Manage the development and enhancement of website projects to drive onsite conversions throughout the user journey.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the project manager, collaborating with IT teams and external agencies to drive the development of new functionalities that deliver business value (e.g., collecting user requirements, conducting user acceptance testing, and following up on regular change requests).
  • Process Development: Create digital operation processes, user manuals, and training packages to empower internal business users in deploying new digital developments effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Champion regular audits of digital tools and applications to ensure accuracy and quality execution across the Group and hotels.
  • Operational Guidance: Oversee overall website operations at the corporate level and provide strategic guidance to hotel teams.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Vendor Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for agency execution to support the digital business objectives of WHM and its hotels.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the digital community and teams at the hotel property level, enhancing digital marketing performance and fostering a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

  • University Degree holder with a major in Marketing or Business, tech savvy and innovative.
  • 8 years of solid Digital Marketing Work Experience, with minimum 3 years in the managerial level leading a digital function.
  • Relevant Digital Marketing and eCommerce experience gained from Hospitality / Luxury Retail / Banking / ITC is preferred.
  • Strong preference for candidates having concrete experience on website revamp / building new website and various mobile and social applications (like WeChat).
  • Excellent project management experience in handling complex projects involving multinational counterparts from both internal and external.
  • Familiarity with online tracking software (incl. but not limited to GA, Omniture, SEMRUSH, Baidu Tongji, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Experienced in organizing digital marketing campaigns with strong focus on driving ROIs and incremental revenue.
