Vice President Finance

Responsibility

  • Provide strategic financial leadership across the Group, driving financial, asset, and investment strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and performance analysis to support executive and ownership decision‑making.
  • Oversee consolidated financial reporting, controls, and compliance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to IFRS and Group standards.
  • Drive financial performance through KPI management, cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and EBITDA improvement initiatives.
  • Lead capital, treasury, and asset management activities, including financing, liquidity management, valuations, and investment analysis.
  • Act as executive sponsor for finance, IT, and procurement systems, championing digital transformation, data integrity, and cybersecurity governance.
  • Oversee Group Purchasing and procurement strategies to drive cost efficiency, supplier performance, contract value maximization, compliance, and sustainability.
  • Manage financial risk, insurance, contracts, and major commercial agreements, safeguarding the Group’s financial and brand interests.
  • Partner with hotel owners and key stakeholders, serving as the primary financial liaison and supporting cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Lead, mentor and develop, high‑performing teams across Finance, Innovation & Technology, and Purchasing, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in senior management role, of which at least 5-7 years are within the hospitality industry.  
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, organizational structure, and financial management.
  • Proven ability to oversee global tax compliance, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Demonstrated experience designing internal control and risk‑mitigation frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, USALI, financial modelling, and asset management principles.
  • Experience leading major system implementation and digital innovation projects.
  • Strong leadership across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of building strong relationships with internal executives, owners, and business partners.
  • Strategic business mindset combined with strong operational acumen.
  • Understanding of the global hospitality landscape including evolving customers behaviors, booking trends and digital revenue streams.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, Putonghua and local dialect.
