Responsibility

• Clean 12 guest rooms within an 8-hour shift, ensuring all rooms meet the standards and policies established by Marco Polo Hotels.
• Ensure the assigned working area is maintained at a high standard of cleanliness.
• Ensure guest privacy is respected when the "Do Not Disturb" sign is displayed.
• Assist guests and respond to guest requests whenever possible.
• Clean and replenish guest rooms according to established procedures and standards.
• Provide turn-down service when required.
• Ensure the security of the Master Key at all times.
• Maintain the housekeeping cart in a clean and fully stocked condition.
• Ensure all equipment is kept in good working order.
• Keep the linen room clean and organized.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the floor linen room.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the assigned working area.
• Report any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixtures, or fittings to the Floor Supervisor.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Provide polite and professional service at all times.
• Deliver high-quality service to customers.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues within the department and other departments.
• Report maintenance issues to the Engineering Department promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Lost and Found procedures.
• Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints.
• Promote the hotel's and Marco Polo's products and services.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about products and services to explain and sell them to guests.
• Adhere to the hotel's cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• The department reserves the right to amend or supplement this job description as necessary.
• Perform any other reasonable duties and assignments as directed.

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational Training School graduate.
• At least one year of floor working experience.
• One to two years of working experience in an international hotel chain of similar standard.
• Possesses good knowledge of daily Housekeeping floor operations.
• Flexible to work a rotational shift system, including early shifts, late shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Possesses good knowledge of cleaning chemicals usage and room cleaning techniques.
