Responsibility

  • Represent The Spa in a professional manner and well-groomed always.
  • Provide continuous guest service and anticipation of guests’ needs.
  • Provide a professional, friendly demeanour to all guests and hotel colleagues.
  • Ensure all guests are treated with genuine care and comfort.
  • Colleague makes eye contact and keep focus on the guest.
  • Colleague performs the requirements of their department knowledgeably and proficiently.Can capably answer questions about the entire hotel or obtains effective and prompt assistance.
  • Conduct area opening and closing procedures must be performed according to the working schedule and standard operating procedures.
  • Greet each guest by their name with a warm welcome and fond farewell.
  • Perform the telephone etiquette according to hotel standards.
  • Set up workstation with necessary supplies: towels, water. Maintain cleanliness throughout shift.
  • Check facilities and notify supervisor of any safety hazards.
  • Maintain the presentation and cleanliness swimming pool continuously.
  • Maintain the quality and quantity of pool equipment, accessories and guest supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage.
  • Stock and record pool equipment, accessories and guest supplies on a daily basis.
  • Escort guest to fitness centre and swimming pool if need.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge and usage of fitness and swimming items according to guest's needs.
  • Handle guest complaints by ensuring guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Pay attention guest behaviour when they are stay in swimming pool, must follow safety guideline.
  • Maintain complete knowledge and comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
  • Check all daily operating checklists and operating forms.
  • Verify and maintain equipment inventories, check first aid box and other emergency equipment.
  • Daily check swimming pool water quality and ensure meet hygiene bureau standard.
  • Update and input all necessary reports.
  • Assist the supervisors manage swimming pool equipment and operating supplies
  • Assist and attend to all walk-in members, visitors, guests and telephone calls or enquiries.
  • Be proactive by keeping swimming pool clean and tidy on a daily basis.
  • Assist and help any members or guests that requires any assistant in the pool or in the pool area, which requires any services or requests.
  • Report all members or guest who break the rules and regulations of the department to the gym supervisor or spa manager.
  • Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations governing sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment.
  • Report to your immediate supervisor or manager regarding any issues
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisor and manager.
  • Refer to the report schedule and follow up with relevant section supervisors, ensuring all reports are updated and handed to the manager on time.
  • All information and materials are strictly confidential; YOU are not allowed to divulge any confidential information, which might cause detrimental effect to the company business.
  • Perform reception tasks: register all users, handle bill and payment, answer calls etc. to ensure efficient operation is carry out.
  • Initiate to offer courteous and professional service and handle all guests request and inquiries at all times to maintain the high standard of service.
  • Ensure all safety signage are in place and properly display (not faded), if so take owner-ship of the problem and report accordingly to engineering to have it replace.
  • Abide by the WHM Code of Conduct.
  • Abide by the WHM Colleagues Handbook.
  • Abide by both the hotel and WHM & hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' college education
  • National Life Guard Certification
  • Life Guard and Reception experience
  • Good oral and written English proficiency,
  • Good service manner, able to communicate with all levels,
  • Good team player and corporate attitude.
  • Open to change and new ideas.
  • Good in computers ,able to work under pressure.
