Cucina and fresh Jointly Present the ‘Black Tea Bliss’ Afternoon Tea
Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel
The afternoon tea draws inspiration from three iconic fresh products: the Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence, which boosts luminosity with powerful antioxidants; the velvety Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask, which firms and lifts the skin during the night-time recovery process; and the Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask, a hydrating face mask that smooths lines and refreshes tired skin.
Cucina’s Chef de Cuisine Andrea Delzanno has crafted a selection of savoury and sweet treats that blends black tea with authentic Italian ingredients. Highlights include the duck liver terrine with black tea, milk jelly, gold as well as the Sicilian octopus with black tea mashed potato and tomatoes. Also not to be missed is the classic Parma ham with melon and mint, a refreshing creation that mirrors the brand’s cooling Instant Perfecting Mask.
The tea set also features six dainty sweet morsels that reflects the characteristics of fresh’s products. Guests will delight in the black tea panna cotta, which is served with a mini pipette tube filled with a sweet and tart berries sauce that guests can inject into the creamy panna cotta. Meanwhile, the verbena and dark chocolate tea mousse is a divine and beautifully balanced creation that boasts a smooth filling inside a chocolate cup. Other exquisite confections include a black tea and mint macaron that features the fresh logo and the dark chocolate praline infused with black tea.
Guests who order the tea set will each receive an exclusive fresh gift set (valued at HK$252), which includes the brand’s Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask (15ml), Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask (15ml), as well as a special rewards card (while stocks last). Guests can enjoy additional gifts from fresh by presenting the card and registering for membership at the brand’s Lane Crawford store at Harbour City.
