2025 MARCO POLO JINJIANG CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY SUCCESSFULLY HELD: ILLUMINATING YEAR-END CONNECTIONS WITH GOLDEN WARMTH

Marco Polo Jinjiang

Hotel news, 8 December 2025
JINJIANG, CHINA, 8 December 2025 – On the evening of 5 December 2025, the lounge at Marco Polo Jinjiang was gradually illuminated by starlight, filled with a gentle warmth. A Christmas lighting ceremony, themed "The Ritual of Winter," warmly commenced here, gathering representatives of the property’s ownership, distinguished guests, and members of the press. Together, they embraced the deepening twilight to share in a year-end occasion woven with warmth and delightful surprises.

The event began at a thoughtfully designed welcome desk, where guests not only penned their first winter greetings but also received a star-shaped lamp to light. The soft glow in their palms seemed to capture the gentle galaxy of the evening in advance, symbolising that each person was a luminary in this ceremony of light and shadow.

The ceremony opened with an endearing dance performance by little Christmas elves, whose innocent and lively moves instantly infused the atmosphere with festive joy. This was followed by an inventive dance piece titled "Cheongsam Christmas Carol," where Eastern elegance and Western festive elements blended seamlessly. As the dancers twirled their fans, delicate bell chimes sprinkled through the air, eloquently expressing the harmony and dialogue between cultures through graceful movement.
In his address, Mr. Larry Wang, General Manager of Marco Polo Jinjiang, reflected on the warm moments shared with guests over the past year, stating, "We cherish every encounter and are grateful for each moment of companionship." His sincere words resonated deeply, and in the meeting of eyes around the room, the sparkle of shared memories shone brightly.

A live musical performance reinterpreted classic Christmas melodies, transporting listeners to a snowy Christmas market on a distant street abroad. The raffle draw then brought waves of excitement, with prizes including a suite voucher for Marco Polo Jinjiang, the popular designer toy Labubu, and tickets to the Quanzhou Grand Theatre’s "New Year Concert." This "art-meets-trend" gift package elevated the atmosphere to a crescendo of anticipation and delight.

The most touching moment of the evening arrived with a collective countdown. A towering seven-metre Christmas tree suddenly blazed to life, cascading like a golden waterfall and filling every corner with radiant brilliance. As carols rose softly into the air, some guests quietly clasped the hands of those beside them—a reflection of the event’s true essence: what was illuminated was not merely the stars upon the tree, but the genuine connections between people.

This lighting ceremony not only marked the official start of the Christmas season at Marco Polo Jinjiang but also created, through a series of meticulously designed elements, a shared space brimming with ritual and emotional warmth. As the year draws to a close, Marco Polo Jinjiang wishes this golden radiance to light the winter journey of every guest, extending warmth and kindling hope for the year to come.
