Plogging: Treading the Path of Environmental Protection
On the morning of the event, a unique Plogging began along the scenic Yundang Lake. Hotel staffs, members of the 77 Running Club, and hotel guests transformed into "eco-friendly runners," jogging along the lakeshore. Equipped with environmentally friendly bags, they meticulously searched for and picked up litter such as cigarette butts and plastic fragments during their run. After nearly an hour of activity, participants collected approximately 4 kilograms of trash, helping to lighten the load on the city and demonstrating the unique synergy between exercise and environmental protection.
Lights-out Moment: Listening to the Earth's Heartbeat in Darkness.
At 8.30 pm, the hotel turned off non-essential lighting in public areas and encouraged guests to turn off lights in their rooms, joining this global moment of energy conservation. Lobby Lounge was transformed into a serene "meditation space," where a singing bowl meditation session led by therapists from ECOL SPA was held. Surrounded by candlelight and natural sounds, participants closed their eyes in contemplation, using deep, rhythmic breathing and the resonant vibrations of the singing bowls to connect with the Earth's pulse and experience a sense of tranquility. The event concluded with a lucky draw to reward actively participating guests, extending the concept of a low-carbon lifestyle into daily life.
