Ms. Dong Jin, a contemporary artist whose works are part of the permanent collections at the China Cultural Center in Paris and France’s National Museum of Natural History, is known for her oil paintings and installations collected by celebrity patrons and major art institutions alike. At this event, she will present ‘From Self-Healing to Social Adhesive: The Power of Colour and a Guide to Network Building’, accompanied by two of her artworks and co-branded artistic merchandise. Trend-setting illustrator Ms. Liu Xinyu, a graduate of Arts University Bournemouth, infuses poetic natural philosophy into her visual storytelling, creating contemporary artworks that embody healing energy. Her talk, titled ‘Capturing Poetic Moments in Life Through Art’, will explore her interpretation of ‘slow aesthetics’ through minimalist composition. Art curator Ms. Gao Shan, who works across spatial design, installation art, visual art, calligraphy, product design, painting, and sculpture, is dedicated to bringing art back into everyday life. She will share her insights in a session titled ‘Art Therapy and Spatial Art’.

During the event, Executive Chef Benny and his culinary team from The Tea Lounge will present an afternoon tea collaboration inspired by Ms. Dong Jin’s artwork. They will interact with the guests while preparing refreshing early summer treats such as cucumber sorbet and Sichuan-style iced jelly—offering both a visual and gastronomic journey into local culture and artistry.
Attendees are also invited to explore the themed exhibition, ‘Meet Me at 10’, curated in collaboration with Dong Jin, located in the foyer outside Niccolo Ballroom on the 7th floor. Running through July 15, 2025, the exhibit showcases signature experiential installations along with a specially commissioned anniversary piece titled ‘Qi’, created exclusively for Niccolo Chengdu’s 10th anniversary. This exhibition weaves a multidimensional narrative about Niccolo Chengdu’s artistic spirit as a cultural landmark within the city.
