Chongqing, China, 27 March, 2025 - Just in time for the Dragon Boat Festival, Niccolo Chongqing, continuing its tradition of chic and elegant design, has created two unique Dragon Boat Festival rice dumpling gift boxes: ‘Contemporary Rice Dumpling Gift Box’ and ‘Magnificent Rice Dumpling Gift Box’. The design of the gift boxes draws inspiration from the artwork showcased throughout the hotel, and aims to deliver authentic Dragon Boat Festival delicacies in classic Niccolo style.
‘Contemporary Rice Dumpling Gift Box’ resembles the artistic work ‘Colourful Clouds’, which is on display in public areas of the hotel. Its design is fashionable and elegant, and showcases a gold-stamped ‘N’ logo, accompanied by a dark ‘N’ pattern. The gift box makes use of the mysterious and noble orchid purple, which denotes tradition and luxury. The Contemporary Rice Dumpling Gift Box’ is priced at RMB 298, RMB 268 when purchased via the official WeChat mall before 30 April.
Each box contains one Plain flavor rice dumpling, one Chesnutt & Meat rice dumpling, one Mixed Sticky Rice rice dumpling, one Rose & Red Bean Paste rice dumpling, one Abalone rice dumpling, one Ham & Meat rice dumpling, one Osmanthus rice dumpling and one Salty Egg & Meat rice dumpling.
The ‘Magnificent Rice Dumpling Gift Box’ gift box is simple yet elegant, with the dark Niccolo ‘N’ pattern as the base, matched with a metal clasp and a deep pale green as the primary colour. This combination highlights the elegant Niccolo logo, incorporating a sense of contemporary design with the traditional flavours contained within, in line with the preferences of our modern young and fashion-savvy guests. ‘Magnificent Rice Dumpling Gift Box’ is priced at RMB 438, and can be purchased via the official WeChat mall before 30 April at a special price of RMB 394.
Each box contains one Plain flavor rice dumpling, one Taro rice dumpling, one Classic & Meat rice dumpling, one Matsutake & Meat rice dumpling, one Abalone rice dumpling, one Osmanthus rice dumpling, one Dried Scallop & Prawn and one Salty Egg & Meat rice dumpling.
