Assistant Bar Manager

Responsibility

  • Act as the primary leader of the bar, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Supervise and motivate the bar team while assisting with restaurant duties as directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Recognize and respond to guests’ requests promptly, delivering outstanding bar service through effective communication.
  • Maintain smooth operations and enhance productivity within the bar, including stock ordering, monitoring inventory levels, and scheduling staff.
  • Collaborate on bar menu planning, uphold sanitation standards, and support servers and hosts during peak service times.
  • Skillfully prepare ingredients and mix drinks with professionalism and flair.
  • Continuously strive to meet and exceed guests’ needs, creating memorable experiences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Bar Manager in a hotel or high-standard restaurant. 
  • Creative and innovative ideas for drink creation that align with current market trends. 
  • In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, mocktails, and cocktails. 
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player. 
  • Customer-oriented with a keen attention to detail and a hospitable nature.
