Director of Sales

Responsibility
- Participate in the development of the department's annual budget, the hotel's marketing plan, and business and financial plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Be responsible for engaging with new clients, building connections, and establishing strong customer relationships.
- Develop and implement sales plans to increase room occupancy, increase average room rate, increase business volume and increase room revenue in accordance with the proportion of customer composition requirements.
- Prepare required contracts and agreements based on client needs.
- Keep an eye on and collect the information of competitors in the same industry, analyses the development trend of the hotel and guest market, seek competitive advantages, formulate specific goals, develop and effectively implement strategies and plans, and increase market share.
- Achieve individual business targets and team sales goals.
- Maintain close business contact with customers, and make different marketing plans according to the external market environment and different seasons.
- Evaluate market opportunities based on the hotel's housing and conference situation, and assist other departments (e.g., Front Office, Food and Beverage, PR, etc.) to publicise and promote promotional activities.
- Identify operational issues that reduce marketing effectiveness and overall hotel sales, and work with relevant departments to resolve them.
- Maintain customer relationships, understand customer needs, master service skills, sales communication skills, and provide good customer feedback.
- Through the training and guidance of sales team members, formulate corresponding rules to maximise the sales potential of the team, build a sense of honour and enhance loyalty
- Keep customer information and develop new customers in a planned way. Use public relations and sales skills to maintain good customer relations and expand the influence of the hotel
- Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications
- Education: College or above
- Experience: At least 3 years of sales position management experience in 5 5-star hotel.
- Others: Good English, proficient in office software, dares to take responsibility, strong executive force, organisational and management skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills.
