RB&E Sales Manager

Responsibility

  • Restaurant/Bar Sales & Customer Relationship.
  • Solicit new and existing guests in RB&E to meet / exceed revenue goals. This will include telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, private room and table visits, written communication, and file maintenance.
  • Actively offering the hotel F&B facilities and building/maintaining guest relationships.
  • Prepare an annual marketing plan with members of the department as a basis for the annual marketing plan of the RB&E department.
  • Evaluate local, national, and international market trends, vendors, and other hotel/restaurant operations constantly to ensure the hotel's operations remain competitive and cutting-edge.
  • Continuously seek Marketing and Public Relations opportunities to increase awareness and ultimately business 
  • Ensure that minimum brand standards have been implemented.
  • Works closely with other colleagues in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
  • Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensure that the relevant changes are implemented.
  • Fully conversant with all aspects of the Micros Computer System.
  • Familiars and have good knowledge of the Outlet's Menu and Wine List.
  • Up-sells wine to increase the revenue.
  • Report any difficulties or problems to the Director for solution or follow-up actions.
  • Work closely with chefs and restaurant managers on any food and beverage promotions
  • Support, demonstrate, and reinforce the Niccolo Hotels Values and Culture Characteristics.
  • Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
  • Respond to changes in the Restaurants, Bars & Events function as dictated by the industry, company, and hotel.
  • Exercise responsible behavior at all times and positively represent the hotel and Wharf International.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years college education
  • Catering school certificates is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in RB&E or a similar position
  • Mature, independent, and tactful with good interpersonal & communication skills.
